Moist and Meaty.
Our family house dog growing up lived to be just over 18 years old. She ate
Moist and Meaty her whole life. We got her before my 3rd birthday, and she
died the end of my 3rd year in College.
THAT is a long life!!!! We pay for Eukenuba and Exceed now, but it does
make you wonder!!!

Ohhh... but there is so much more to longevity than dog food quality. The
small breeds have a much longer life-span than the large breeds. It is not
uncommon for the little Poodles or Chihuahuas to live 15 or 16 years, while
the
average Great Dane is not likely to go pass 9 or 10 years. And then there
is genetics. However, I do agree that we tend to overboard with vitamins,
supplements and worrying about dog food ingredients. We pay for premium food
where the company has spent millions of dollars in research to just achieve
the
right formula and then we add supplements which throws all this balanced
diet right off the window.
As someone said earlier, if your dogs look good, they are eating their food
and they seem happy and healthy - you must be doing the right thing so stop
worrying about it.
