of
food in a 50 gal plastic garbage pail 9I do not pour the food directly into
the garbage container, just leave it in the opened bag and secure the cover
to the container...I have never had any of those bags go bad....
I realize that is basically half the quantity that Terry was asking
about...but unless it would be subject to extreme changes in temperature,
leaving
it stored in its original bags inside your home would appear to be safe
storage to me...

PS: Unlike Evan, I do not have to load it onto a cart and into the
car...my food is delivered by the manufacturer...I just have to put it on the
shelves.

Sounds like that show on nat geo.

usually only keep a month, but I don't know why it wouldn't stay just
ine in the bag as long as there weren't any rips or tears and it was in a
dry
place. "Use by" dates are over a year (which is a scary thought for people
and pets!). I'd be afraid of repackaging in big plastic containers with
hat we know about plastic now.

guess is there is a disaster freezers won't work unless you have another
rrangement (solar).

ou know if you really had noting to do, you can "can" meat using a
ressure canner, big quart or better jars and those would last forever.

I have donated gold medals for all Juniors, and contributions are coming
n. I have talked to the AKC, and sent a letter today to the GSDCA. I
don't
ant the Fund to become intwined with the GSDCA, but would like the GSDCA
o recognize it. Extra stuff is always a good idea.

nd, keep sending the donations. 100% of what I get is going to the
