[ SHOWGSD-L ] How do you choose

I was going through petfinders last night and I wonder how the rescues choose..
There are sooo many. And hard knowing that everyone you pass over for another
might not find that home..
There was a beautiful male Shepherd about 10 months old in Ohio they said would
be put down.. He was found wandering and was so freindly they were surprised no
one had come forward for him.. I wish they had to advertise these dogs on the
radio etc.. Owners might not even know where they are. Especially if they had
got away from someone that picked them up outside their own yard and then took
them somewhere else.
