I called Americas Best Value(409 924 7300) and had no problem getting a
room. $63.99 and they are 3 miles from site.

After reading Carolyn's response I called the Hotel again 409-842-5995 and
was told by the manager that all dog show reservation are cancelled. If you
call the 800 number they will say that you still have a room because they
have not been told by the "property owner" that they are closed. You really
need to speak to the actual property that you have a reservation with in
order to confirm it.

I called the Holiday Inn Plaza Hotel & Suites last night and confirmed
my reservation with them. They told me that the Holiday Inn Midtown was
closed for unkown duration due to hurricane damage. There was no
problem with my reservation, as I did specify being with the dog show.
I did try to call the other Holiday Inn (Midtown) and their phone just
rings and rings.......
