This can happen to any one of you/us... All it takes is a disgruntled
neighbor, a AR Animal Control Inspector (or office), and a judge that
does not understand animal husbandry. This is happening to GOOD dog
owners, rabbit breeders, horse owners, cattle, sheep and pig farmers.
I've seen situations where ONE dog or ONE horse can land a good person
in this predicament. Keep an old dog around who is getting thin and
fragile? OR a horse that is in the same shape.. happy to be alive and
be with their owners, but that isn't what some busy body do-gooder
sees and then away they go.
This is NOT to say that there aren't bad breeders, animal owners out
there. There are, and they should be judged accordingly, but to go
after good owners is happening more and more often.
Please send Danielle a "Well Done" for the months that she has spent
(and the money) fighting for all of us as she was fighting for her own
dogs.
