[ SHOWGSD-L ] Hip replacement

Has anyone on the list gone through a hip replacement and recovery with
GSDs? I?m scheduled to have one in early September. My girl, Mimi, will
stay with Jamie Walker while I?m in hospital, but I?m interested in any
post-hospital stay advice I can get. My doc said it would be 6 weeks before
I could walk her. I have several friends who?ve offered to walk her, but I
know it won?t be ever day. She?s 2 ½ and gets the ?zoomies? when she gets
too much pent up energy.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
