What is her temperature running now? Are you giving her lots of calcium?
BTW - I had a bitch, recently, have a tomato discharge after delivering. No
odor, no temp but just didn't look right to me. And, there were a couple of
unaccounted for placentas. First time mom, so I had no previous history to go
by. My vet put her on Amoxi capsules for 10 days. She recovered fine.
Puppies had no issues with mom's antibiotic.

Ok sorry have been down in the nursery and my signal today down there
sucks...anyhow i think till tomorrow we are ok...i did panic this am after she
came in from being outside to potty and we took her temp like always and she
was
a shocking 105.8. I have her sit for 10 mins thinking OMG cooling off ..maybe
to
hot in the side pen today??? It was down only to 105.1, at that point i put her
in the tub, please note she walked down normal to the salon and we picked her
up
and put her in...she wasnt happy of course, she wanted her puppies...i ran
water
all over her, bathed her rear cause it still had been yucky since last weeks
delivery...thats when i noticed the discharge...her newspapers have been
clean...but not her pantaloons and tail...so we got that clean...dried her to
get the heavy moisture out...thats when i saw an excess of the discharge fall
out of her and on the grooming table. Of course i ran my finger through it and
then smelled it... No odor but a thicker consistancy
...(washwd my hands) so then put her back with babies. Gave her 500 ml of
Amoxi, 1/4cc of pit, Fortiflora, more greek Yogurt in her food her meat, some
kibble and mixed. She ate it all...drank water normally, shes a bitch that
stands in her water bucket even in the winter...and the rest of the day has
been
good and normal...so ???
Needless to say thank you for everyones input and ideas...i am only waiting for
tomorrow cause the repro guy will be in and will see us, if she didnt continue
to act totally normal we would of gone to the ER of course.
My problem with ER vets is from past experiences, usually thy are clueless,
know
less than most of you and refer to "the book" for some answers. When all else
fails they want to spay em. If her life depended on it of course I would do
it...but i dont believe that is the case here...
