Anja, we have a Kennel and a few years ago our neighbor who, by the way had
been our neighbor for about 8 years, suddenly was complaining about our dogs
barking during the day!!! When the gate bell rings it does get loud...LOL
Funny thing is he had about 20 Westies and Scotties who yipped ALL THE TIME!!
Anyway, low and behold here comes a complaint. The Orange County animal
control came out and spent 3-4 hours here in the morning to see what noise he
was talking about. It happened to be a Friday and busy. They were satisfied
at the end of the time that it was a false complaint, we have not be bothered
since.
If you are in legal limit.... You could see if they were willing to do it.
The other thing you could do is talk to your other neighbors and see if they
would sign a statement to say your dogs are not noisy.
Good Luck, cranky neighbors sure can make life miserable.
