[ SHOWGSD-L ] Help !!.....Any suggestions would be great.......

Hi everyone, I hope all you stay at homers are enjoying Evan's posting from the
Nationals. I'm delighted to read such fun & informative up to the minute
postings! Thank you Evan.
On a more serious note I have a old girl who will be 13 soon. For a few months
now she has had chronic diarrhea and weight loss and didn't want to eat. her
coat is falling out in hunks, mind you she has a ton to begin with, but it
doesn't seem to be a healthy coat.
She is still very happy & bouncy like normal. Took her to the vet one month ago
& did a series of blood work . It showed all was normal. The vet put her on
Tylecon (sp?)
3 x a day....... with in 48 hours she was eating , stool firmed up and life
was good. Now for the past week she is back to watery diarrhea, still eating,
at least seems hungry & attempts to eat but never finishes it.
Can anybody give me some suggestions as to what you think it is? My vet seems
stumped. What other meds can I give her?? I want this to stop. Every morning
I'm waking up to a room full of Hershey squirts. EEEh! It's really making her
more tired than usual.
This is a dog that has never been sick a day in her life and has more energy
than a whole kennel of dogs put together..
Help!!!
