It is nearly impossible to get homeowners insurance with some of the breeds
that the insurance companies have targeted. I had to go to the Fair Plan
(almost 2,000$ a year) due to the dogs.
It is my understanding that if they are coats, you can pass them off as
mixes...maybe Collie?

i have to ask - how does the length of the coat affect homeowner's
insurance issues? are people just claiming that the coats aren't
GSDs?
