Hi all,
I am sending thanks from Christi Halliday and family on the many calls for help
and esp Georgie who almost made it to their location to rescue them - the
national guard succeeded in clearing 78 westbound at about noon and I just
received word that they are finally home safe and sound. At 0600 they were
being told the road could not be cleared until 4 pm and prepare for another
night, so they were very worried....This was a 30 mile backup... Again many
many thanks... they even had channel 11 news calling (okay who told them?)
who met them at their home and just wrapped up an hour interview/news special
on the garden, Zane, and their ordeal getting home. Nothing like being stinky
and exhausted and filmed for tv... this is Pittsburg area tv if anyone there
wants to check it out. What a way to retire a dog.
