Just curious. When the Russians did their fox breeding experiment (breeding the most docile fox), one characteristic they started to get was floppy or hanging ears. It may not be favorable in truly wild animals because it's a juvenile characteristic or it may impede hearing. They started getting fox with distinctly rounder eyes than the original wild types (another juvenile characteristic).
