HI,
I have to say that I have seen Good, Bad, and everything in between. Doing the
Rescues that I have been doing, you see alot of the "other" side. Dogs that
have been trained for protection, dogs that have been abused, and dogs that
have NEVER had any socialization. I think the biggest thing that we - the
American Show dogs- lack in is Courage. YES, there are definitely some
American Show lines that have Courage in them. YES, there are some "other"
lines that have bad or off temperaments. Just as these things are in every
breed of dog. But, for the most part, Our German Shepherd is a dog that should
have Courage. I don't think we are asking too much to put that courage into
our dogs. Stand your ground, Folks. Breed for the Betterment of the Dog, NOT
always for JUST what is winning in the Ring. LOVE the dogs that you have in
your backyard FIRST...then put them in the show ring...Right Mr. Migilore?
