[ SHOWGSD-L ] Goldbecker and Hart book

I have a copy of the 1955 Goldbecker & Hart book, and it has a very
interesting notation on the back fly leaf: "Norm I would like a
'great' German Shepard- I'll bring 'one' back from Wiesbaden next
month- you'll help me pick him out. I Love You! C.P."
That must mean both of them were going to Germany. Does anyone have
any idea who "Norm" and "C.P." might be? I am guessing that this
was written in the book fairly soon after it was published. I bought
the book in a used book store in St.Paul about 25 years ago.
