I agree with not breeding the off color of the websites you posted below except
wonder why you included
http://www.gaardog.com/sires.htm who has German GSD's.
The color white is not really a off color but a recessive that in history has
arrived in litters with white GSD's in their background.

Now if Troll and Alex never came to the USA Lance would not exist.
I think the real issue is the conformation difference in the white GSD and the
American show bred GSD's. Most of the white show GSD's look more like
GSD's of years ago with more of the square look. It will still boil down if
they were allowed to show to the judge and placings. I see many GSD's
showing at AKC shows that lack type and correct conformation but they are
the right color.
The real issue is AKC will registry anything don't require DNA to prove if
there was not a outcross involved. Since the person at UCDavis that did the
testing on the Panda's left shortly after there was never a report on it.
Standard
"Color
The German Shepherd Dog varies in color, and most colors are permissible.
Strong rich colors are preferred. Pale, washed-out colors and blues or livers
are serious faults. A white dog must be disqualified."
The white is disqualified but yet the Pale, washed-out colors, blues and livers
are just faults. This does not make sense after all the websites you posted
were the sites that are only have the faults.
I do not want to see a separation in our breed and would like a different
solution.

Are we SURE we want to actually ignore a disqualifying fault..........just
because
the DNA is German Shepherd Dog??? ( here is your results!! ) Once you go
down this road........it will be hard to get back on track. Our membership
will fill
up with those who vote along these lines with the steps the Board has taken.

Notice these are being passed off as show dogs and breeding stock.
I'm no Rocket Scientist....but I don't think there is ANY A.K.C. Breed that
allows all and any color and marking!?? Are we sure we want to present this
as the face of the German Shepherd Dog and acceptable by the German
Shepherd Dog Club Of America, Inc. as we ignore our own mission statement?
