[ SHOWGSD-L ] German Shepherd Program

I personally am in the market for such a program. I have three of them
now, but each has problems....
1. No Name - The support is great and the people are friendly. The
price was about $100.00 or so but it is not user friendly. It pops up,
hitting you in the face with a very colorful frame with huge letters
and no instructions on where to go from there. You have to know the
program to use the program. The menus are either absent or hidden,
expecting you to know already what you are doing. My data base is
finally in it, but I just can't use it.
2. No name again. This program works great and costs less, about
$89.00, but ever time your computer locks up or shuts down without
permission, the access code is gone and you have to either call
support or pay again to download a new program. The people are never
home and seldom call back and ignore emails with a passion. So the
program is great, but be prepared to buy it ever time the code slips
away.
3. An internet ped program. This one will take your information and
store it for you - no other option - and then you have to remember
where you put it on their server. It is OK and cheep, but it doesn't
print entries and several other things I need, and, like so many
sites, it requires passwords and user names that are complicated and I
can't remember, because it won't allow my usual ones. The others are
better, but not there yet.
So, I for one would welcome something else, but I would want it in a
trial form first. The trial can have some function disabled so there
is no benefit without purchasing it, but I don't think I'll buy
another without being able to try it first.
