I'm not insulting the Judge. I'm saying the comment did.. To say that you
know JD will give BIS to Jimmy. Is saying that he wont look at any other dogs.
and makes it sound like it was cut and dried.
I've done a lot of winning under JD. and have a tremendous respect for him
as I do Jimmy, Helen, Geneva, Dallas and many more.
To say I felt that Geneva SHOULD take the Breed and if she takes the
Group would stand a good shot at the show would have sounded much better.
Carol, your terminology was correct in saying that JD PROBABLY would have
given Geneva BIS . Of course I think that would have been wonderful!!!
I'm saying with all the new people we have in the sport, we MUST be
careful with our terminology. Gee, they might even get to thinking that there
COULD be Politics in the Dog world.
I've heard all the sour grapes against Geneva from so many losers. I
still ask those people what it is that they don't like about her.I can never
get
an answer that I can agree with.
If I had been judging the Breed , I PROBABLY would have put her up. Can't
say I would because I don't know what else was there and how everyone showed
etc. If I were judging the Group, I KNOW she would be considered however
there is a ring full of other Herding dogs that are just as beautiful as her.
When you are judging the Group you are a Group judge not a GSD judge.
So other than me loving GSD's and Especially Geneva , I see no reason why
THAT Aussie didn't deserve the win just as well.
I really felt it was toss up between Geneva and the Aussie. Geneva should
not have been 3rd in that line up. But that is MY opinion. Judi
