Could someone tell me what's magical about 3am with puppies? Ever since =
giving birth on 11/11, Dixie has been getting me up at 3am to feed her =
and now it's the puppies who seem to be starving to death by then... ok, =
clearly, I'm a newbie and it's probably just that they need food that =
frequently, but THREE A M? When do I next get to sleep through the =
night?

One of my current housedog, and senior, Pebbles, is always where I am. =
When I'm on the computer, she lies right behind my chair, which is on =
casters. I always have to check behind me before getting up so I don't =
roll over her tail or feet. At least she does not jump on the keyboard =
like one of my cats does. Pebbles also follows me to the bedroom at =
night, lies down on her
bed and only wakes me with a cold muzzle when the puppy needs to go out, =
usually around three am.--
