With all due respect I have to disagree, at least for us in GA. The Atlanta
Kennel Club and the GSDC of Atlanta both belong to an organization here in
GA that is dedicated to protecting
Breeders, exhibitors, etc. I represent the Atlanta Kennel Club ( all breed
club) and believe me when I tell you this organization is continually
challenged to be instrumental in fighting bills that are continually being
introduced by State Legislators which would restrict breeders & owners.
Maybe CA is different.
Seems to me Stormy is kept very busy alerting us to threatening legislature
in other States. Last we learned PETA has many millions in their coffers
which they intend to use
to bring restrictive legislation to fruition. PETA lobbyists' are paid
handsomely and they are good at what they do.

My brother-in-law spent Christmas with us, (and Tedi's sister), and he is a
33rd degree Mason.
But, I don't see any need for national promotion of our breed. PETA is
losing, dogs are more popular than ever, the shepherd is one of the top
three most popular breeds with AKC, and we have people always asking for
puppies.
Live is good, and it is already 78 degrees today.
