To all those following the continuing legal battle between the
Louisville Kennel Club et al & Louisville/Metro Jefferson County's
Animal Ordinance:
Last night, at the Louisville Kennel Club's meeting, Donna Herzig
advised that our lawsuit re.: the unconstitutionality of
Louisville/Metro Jefferson County's Animal Ordinance IS going forward
as planned. A 'stay' was in place pending last Friday's ruling by the
local judge. That judge's ruling that at least one version of the
Animal Ordinance was OK, left our major lawsuit to go forward. One
more item is left to be filed by LKC's lawyers, to be done by the end
of May, 2007, and then it is on to the Federal Courts.
