OK -- I'm in La. and TABASCO sauce dribbled over it will keep that kid from
mouthing.
Also, it's a good idea to have "legal" chews available to deter the boring
times in a crate.
I've always told folks that a GSD is a "set of brains" and needs to be
treated accordingly.
The metal pans would rust and now these plastic cheapies are very frail.

Is everyone experiencing that the trays in the crates these days are not as
sturdy and durable
as the past crate trays. Mine is cracking and breaking apart after a year
and replacements
are almost as much as a crate. Joan's idea is great but what if you have one
of those dogs
that enjoy to nibble on them while in crate? Any other ideas? Joyce
