This is a super dog, and we are in Arizona. It is 8:30 and about 90
outside. I didn't post from the show as there were six Asgard dogs entered, and
I
wanted to watch.
In one class Tedi entered four males from the same litter, and they weren't
shown. I am starting to think again about this double entry thing. There
were only seven males, (as I counted them) and I haven't figured out yet the
number absent.
I do know Celeste and Pat's bitch won the Maturity, and there were very
good animals being shown, even though the entry was small. Summer worked her
way up to second in the biggest class, starting out second to last, I think
sixth, and then she and her littermate, ( the bitch, not Summer) went
second and third. Summer had never handled the bitch before, and did a
fantastic job. She was pushed hard by the littermate with Mike Sherman on
her,
but held onto the number two spot. She is starting to learn how to win. She
knows how to show.
This is one hell of a club. The hotel is great, and the show next door.
They cooked lunch, and the motel offers breakfast and dinner with the room.
Michele had an openhouse at his home. We went to the Heart Attack Grill.
They have the waitresses in nurses outfits, and when you come in they put a
hospital gown on you. They have french fries cooked in lard, and if you are
over 300 pounds, you eat for free. If you finish one of their quadruple
by-pass hamburgers, they take you to your car in a wheelchair. It was fun.
We have Kirk and we didn't enter him here, but there were two other
futurity judges watching the show. This was one of the most fun shows I have
been to for a long time.
I will post tomorrow what is going on, but I will let Michele post the
results, he gets it on a disc and I am enjoying talking to my friends, and the
other people too.
