Today in school, the screen for the smartboard/powerpoint came off the left side of the wall and smacked me in the mouth. (It's metal.) My lips began to bleed and the left side of my mouth started to swell. The kids were scared, even though they are seniors. I went to Midge, the nurse, who gave me an ice pack and told me I'd have to get a tetanus shot. So I left school, went to the doctor's and got the shot. It didn't look too bad, but once I got home, Forest was agitated. She's never been a lap dog, but she insisted on sitting on mine. Moreover, she began licking the injury--do you think she could smell it? Well, I let her and by God, it feels better. That is one smart dog--the best!
