Well of course Forest could smell it Penny. Dogs know when you are hurt.
They also know when you are sad and you do not even have to say a word.
sometimes when I would get upset about something and cry my Harley would get
right up next to me and whine and kiss me and i know that he was trying to make
me feel better. i miss that dog so much!!!!!!!!
