I am sorry, but I do not feel that winning Breeds (all breed or specialty) or
Groups should qualify a dog for the Parade of Greats. Best in Show maybe, but
the other awards are too easily attainable and really, in my mind, does not
qualify a dog as "great". But maybe my definition of Great is different than
others...
We do not want to keep lowering the bar and playing "limbo" with our quality
standards. In the end, the attempt to be more inclusive and expand our
numbers, will only dilute our perceived existing quality.

No, that's not my point of view.
was pointing out the inconsistency that some of the very same people (on
his list) who had no problem at all with allowing dogs w/ DQs being
warded V/VX honors at our national having a HUGE problem with having the
arade of Greats expanded to include the dogs listed below. (Denise, currently
they are NOT eligible).
was also pointing out that in their haste, w/o studying all of the
amifications of their (in my opinion ill conceived) vote, our board has more
han likely set us up for a dog with DQs one day being in the Parade of GREAT
ogs.
f we consider allowing some of the dogs I mentioned below in the parade, I
dunno'...haven't given it a whole lot of thought. I would think maybe a
og in the top 5 to 10, perhaps dogs who have a certain number of "bests",
aybe...I haven't thought it through, again, just pointing out the
nconsistency of and total lack of logic between the two arguments.
