It's official...Tari Kridler is awesome!
She told me to tube feed my fading puppy.
I had already tried the liver juice & sugar water.
In the 13 years that I have been breeding GSD's & many years of breeding
beagles & other hounds w/ my dad, I had never tube fed a puppy before.
I had all the equipment, & the knowledge. But just needed that extra push.
This puppy means the world to me as her grandmother "Fresca" (our foundation
bitch & frisbe enthusist) )will celebrate her 13th birthday on Dec. 19th. I
know her days here on earth are numbered.
I did this breeding so that we could keep a female pup to carry on in Fresca's
name.
With this being the only pup in the litter I am determined that she will be a
surviver!
After 7 cc's of goat milk tubed in, this little puppy came to life. She is now
nursing on mom again. I will continue to supplement with the tube as needed.
A special thanks to Tari for giving me the confidence to do what needed to be
done!
