Description of Dogs: German Shepherds
Biography: I purchased my first German Shepherd from Margaret Pooley
"Rocky Reach" Kennels in 1955. Although from a great champion "Jeffrey
of Rocky Reach" our dog was not a breed speciman. But one heck of an
obediance dog completing a UD degree and getting his CD at six months of
age with a first under under Carl Spitz and many 1st there after. He was
spotted by Rud Weatherwax (owner and trainer of "Lassie" of TV fame ).
There began a long relationship where Rud used "Pacer" my dog for
television work. The money that I earned from that wonderful
relationship afforded me the opportunity to buy a top "show speciman"
Bobalynes Cougar" who I went on to finish in three countries.
I served for over thirty years as a technical advisor and Southern
California representative for Guide Dogs For The Blind at San Rafael. I
have had many champions since then both in Sheperds and Rottweillers. "
Schokrest's Denver" was my last shepherd who placed 2nd select at the
National a few years ago. I am a liscenced specialist AKC Judge of
German Shepherds.
I owned " Schokrest's Denver " with my friend of many years Bob Frink.
Art Sinclair did the handling and training of Denver at his kennel.
Bob and I have put out the word we are looking for a top GV quality
young male. We invite your questions and if you have or know of such
a dog that might be available. Please contact me.
