Build it and they will come.
Show your long coats. They are part of the breed. If more people would show
them, then they will win. If you sit back and keep them in the kennel
because you don't think they will win, they won't.
I wonder how many judges would put up a coat, if all other factors are
considered, that is the best dog. I will be the first to say so, I would, with
no hesitation.
I can think of a number of times I have judged where I would have loved to
have a superior long coat, rather than what I had to judge.
