Carol , breeder of GV's and a GVX where should the hopefuls be in their
grooming program to prepare their dog's to show at the national??
How often do you bathe a dog to get it to set coat? About how long does it
take
to rotate a coat on a GSD? Lay your wisdom on us. Do you think supplements help?
I just got through ripping and tearing hair out of the 2 old spayed girls.
I used to use a closed system water heater for divers to warm water to bathe
the
dogs but the dam thing blew up :0) Today it is 85 out so I turned the water on
the roof and the water that runs off it is very warm. I put the tub where the
water would run on the dogs and the bathing began. :0) Where there is a will
there is a way! I got just as wet as the dogs :0) The dogs will go sit in the
river which is about 44 degrees now but do you think they would let me give
them
a cold bath? NO WAY. Old girls need warm water.
Victor doesn't care how warm the water is as long as he is getting touched and
is the center of attention.

Just got back from three days of backpacking up in the high Sierra's above
Yosemite!
I can truly attest to beautiful "high country" of huge granite high mountain
peaks, huge green meadows,
big rivers, deep canyons, lakes and high mountain water falls, treacherous
trails...... and bear Country!!
Tired but not broken..............<G>...........yet!
High Sierras of California and a really good dog show is my "camp".........

Looking forward to Utah .....and a united Board and membership...... and some
REALLY GOOD DOGS!!!
Forget the 'camps'.................what's the 'count' Paula??
