There is a written interview of Ernie in the March 2005 of the Review.
Books and magazines last forever but electronic technology continues
to change so not that reliable for retaining history. I believe there is
also one on Joan Ford but would need to look for it.
Just like the GSD Pedigrees until 2004 there were AKC Stud Books but
today no way to trace your dog back. I have bought the pedigrees from AKC with
errors having wrong information on GSDs. Without it being written down history
will be lost. I still remember the 8 track tapes, old home movies that you made
into VHS tapes now need to convert to DVDs which is changing now too.
Books and magazines are forever if someone has a copy.
