Someone posted that the average salary (for a postal worker) was around $70,000. Don't believe everything you read. 25 years seniority and working every hour of overtime they offer (65 hours last week because they haven't replaced a single retiree in years), I still haven't come close to making that much money in a year. If I did, you'd see me traveling to more dog shows! :-) If that is the average for a whole office, it should be clear JUST how, unnecessarily, management top heavy the Post Office is at the present time. Gina ************************************************************************************************************************* You are absolutely right, Gina! When Billy left the USPS after 24+ years service as a carrier, he was making in the $40K range, which included overtime. Whoever said the workers make an average of $70K is in la-la land--I WISH it was true!
