Steve, the high school where I teach and act as SADD Advisor (Kings Park High
School) has one of (if not THE) largest Support-the-Troops programs in the
country, which we started when we found out that Julie Degen's husband was over
there at the start of the war. Over the years, we have sent hundreds of
packages and thousands of letters to soldiers overseas, and were honored with a
visit by Julie and Col EJ Degen. We've also received numerous recognitions by
various politicians. When your son goes overseas and you get his mailing
address, if you want to email it to me, I will personally make sure that he
receives packages and letters from my students.
Congratulations on raising such a fine young man.
