After 2 attempted assaults in my teens, and knowing that being at a kennel with
15 GSD's and lots more stopped them, I knew I did not want to live without
GSD's.
But I had a 9 year period when dog ownership was not possible. Getting Ari,
the first with Art, was such a relief I don't have words. If I had the space
and the money, there are many breeds I would like to own one of, but there will
always be GSD's in my life, at least until I cannot manage them any more.

Boy do I know what you mean! Thursday marks 3 years since I lost Rhini and
like you said about your Zan, I miss Rhini every blasted day and she was
special to those who knew her and of course to me. But her son Kolby gives me
all her love and his as well. Then ofcourse I have silly puppy Paris ( she's 2
) who thinks the moon, the stars and the sun revolve around me. She gives me
all the wiggles, kisses and knocking things off tables that I can handle. Rhini
was my soul mate, but I still treasure every minute I have with all of them.
