While studying Spanish a few years ago, I watched the Mexican tv channels,
especially the news. I still do and I also frequently watch the BBC news (Great
Britain). It is most enlightening to hear/see what others know about us. It
also helps to open one's mind up to seeing things from different viewpoints
and/or just straight, with no political bias, or at least the political bias we
have grown apathetic to, and trusting of.
Everyone should re-read "Brave New World" and "1984." Or, just keep watching
"American Idol!" :-) :-) The truth is out there, if you can handle the
truth!! :-) :-)

Watching CTV a Canadian TV Station last night, they reported that one of
our necular plants on the East Coast had 4 ft of water in the basment and
had gone to
a level 2 alert. A level 2 alert was not that serious but it was an alert
none-the-less. I then turned to CNN which I've had on the last day and
NEVER a mention
of a necular plant anywhere! I find this very disturbing.
