I have to agree. Kathaleen wasn't spreading rumors. She
just asked a simple question because she saw something a
bit out of the ordinary and wondered if anyone else saw it
too or knew what was happening. No need to jump on her or
anyone else. We're ALL concerned for our breeds and their
health and welfare. A lot of very beneficial stuff goes on
at the various specialties and Nationals for each breed,
including blood draws, eye and heart checks and tattooing
and microchipping.
But yeah... These things could probably all be better
advertised and promoted during the show. How many more
dogs might they have gotten if there had been an
announcement made at various points during the event as
well as maybe having a sign posted at ringside for the
various individual events? At the very least, I would
think there should have been a sign posted at the actual
blood draw itself. If there were, then any "rumors" about
"dogs being injected" could have been completely avoided.
