What fun at the GSDC of Detroit Specialty Show yesterday. Good to see
friends who we only see a few times a year but when we get together we have a
good time catching up. After dinner, a young couple came up and asked us
about our dogs and were interested in getting a German shepherd. Remembering
Carol Mooreâ??s post about a week ago, we made a point of giving them our card
and told them to email or call us if they have any questions and invited
them to the Sunday show. With declines in showing, Carol is so right about
the importance of welcoming new people and make them really feel part of
something good.
Anyway, our good news is Kiley (Can GVX, Am Select Grand Ch Whitsideâ??s
Then Came Me) went BOB to get the final point on her Grand Champion Title.
Thank you Charlotte LaRosa! It was a thrill for Steve to handle Kiley himself
for her title under a judge like Charlotte. We also debuted our newest
addition TRJâ??s Jaeger v Whitside. This was his first specialty show and he
went
Reserve Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Puppy. Jaeger is bred by Janet
Tyler out of Eko-Lanâ??s Italia V King Haven & TRJâ??s Just One Drop. Thank
you
Jon Beyer for presenting him for us.
Only wish we could be at the show today. Good luck everyone!
