Kathy certainly has the voice of common sense. Also, please note: "They'll
take progesterone before to make sure she's ready ." Recent experiences in my
area are there are too many vets who are self-proclaimed "reproductive
specialists" who simply use their estimated day of ovulation for determining
when to do a C-section. This results in the C-section being performed before
the bitch is due to whelp, puppies being delivered too soon with little chance
of survival, a bitch who has no milk, and in the end . . . dead puppies. All
of
this could be avoided by a simple progesterone test. Sad.
