Thank you Gayle for pointing this out.
Hooray for the good Doctor. Good news for everyone
in Shepherds and others. We are very pleased. Several
months ago our club Tampa Bay GSDC gave a thousand
dollars to Dr Clemmons toward research and the GS
Charitable Foundation matched our donation making it
2000 for research. I am sure that they could use more
for those of you want to help out. The fund matching
donations really help. Last look at his website showed
he was hopeful treating it with diet which is a big
break through.
The club's treasury remains modest as usual because we
give a great deal to local area rescue and other
worthwhile projects such as DM, Canine officer family
killed in the line of Duty, Chicago rescue, vests for
k9's and more. For those interested, we make the money
by earning it with Agility. Specialty obedience trials
run with great losses, conformation is break even at
the very best . Other clubs can do the same.
Everyone wants Agility and now Rally. Now everyone
knows the method. Go for it. Respond privately if
you have questions and if over 5 responses I will post
on the list instead of privately.
