I don't believe Ms Amidon was denigrating folks that buy show dogs, It would be
my guess that Barbara has sold a few show dogs.....but I do agree with Paula
that it is NOT easy to buy a good one......I've bought dogs from many very
successful breeders in this sport...spending thousands of dollars......I hit
the jackpot only once...wasted thousands trying to breed a good one
too.......and don't misunderstand me I had a great time during the hunt.....but
if you suck at something, with not much chance of getting better or
richer......it's best to throw in the towel......but I have perhaps one last
card in the deck.....and if that card turns out to be an "Ace"....I may come
back..lol...FB

You can say that again, about breeding being a "special gift," but, please
don't denigrate us buyers and exhibitors!! Â Did you ever try to buy a good
one? Â Took me (just an "anyone," as you put it) 34 years for someone to give
me one to show successfully!
Thank heavens for breeders; I do not have the heart, the stomach, the eye, nor
the talent to breed good ones, let alone bad ones!!! Â :-) Â :-)
