Having breed about 35 five litters in my life time (first one in 1970)...this
is what I am guilty of...I don't do background checks on clients, never have
never will, I have on occasion breed bitches before they were two years old, I
have breed dogs on occasion that were not hip ex-rayed, I have only ex-rayed
for elbows once. I almost never do VCs or test for Bruccilious. I have bred
back to back litters many times. Once I bred a bitch ( a Great Dane) three
times in a row!..I have lost entire litters to parvo (twice)... I NEVER ASSIST
MY MALE IN DOING WHAT HE SHOULD BY NATURE KNOW HOW TO DO!....I have done
inbreedings, line breedings and out-crosses...I have always taken care of my
animals to the best of my ability and I will continue to do so...you may not
agree with some or any of the above and I have no problem with that...some of
us talk about not wanting organizations and local governments restricting what
we do with our animals, but look how quick some of us are to
criticize each other for breeding practices we disagree with...reminds me of a
word that starts with an "H"...don't worry...in 4 more weeks I will be out of
your hair and back to school where folks have open minds and are not so
judgmental!.......Ed
