Yes but my point is it doesn't make doing obedience more
expensive...it does give people a goal, something they can shoot for
while getting their dogs ready for the regular classes. And it's great
for newbies or green dogs. But it's entirely optional. Heck even the
new Pre-Open and Pre-Utility classes (lower jumps and no stays) are
optional and don't have any prerequisites....you can go right into
pre-utility if you want.
