No, we don't classify GSDs re " markings" That comes from your Dalmatian
background <G> The imports and ole time dogs were just the same as today. the
Bar dog that Denny Kodner campaigned was a dark one
The amount of black versus tan,red,gold is not the important consideration.
You just wanted good pigment whether Blk& tan,Bi-color,Sable ( red or blk)
Structure and movement--- did then and now--- far exceeds color & placement
of
