I loved the idea so much I bought a crate that came with casters. I put
the dog in the crate, bag on top of the crate, CRUNCH! Guess I needed
to buy some separate casters with some extra beef to them! Really - the
bag wasn't that heavy!

I would like to give a Heloise helpful hint for air ports when taking
dogs.
I had the experience that A.A. lines when coming home from the St.
Louis Nationals was going to charge me 80.00 extra baggage to bring my
crate dolly home, I had left the dog and crate with the Handler.
When I got home my husband fixed one of my crates with Casters that snap
on and off and a cloth bag that came with my crate with a zipper in it
is perfect. I just snap the casters on when my dog is brought to me in
the air port and snap them off when the dog is being checked in. put the
casters into the bag. and no dolly is needed. I take a extra leash with
me to snap on the crate to drag it around with me inside the air port.
and lead my dog. Just a idea for all of you ? sure works for me . Oh and
I bungee my baggage on the crate or put it inside the crate.
