The best way to destroy ants without a certified exterminator is using Borax.
Try
or liquid (from the drug store as boric acid)). Place the boric acid/borax
with a
tidge of sugar in lids from jars in cabinets. They will take the stuff back to
the
queen and it will destroy the nest.
Remember to keep this out of reach of cats, dogs and children.
