Ants, ugh, the bane of many So Californians existence in the summer,
lol.....we get black ants, red ants and argentine ants (mean , fast, like fire
ants
but smaller) I had an ant attack in the kitchen the other day, and not
wanting to spray or put anything down in the areas they overtook I bought a
product
from Raid, called Combat Gel...I believe. It comes in a syringe, like some
wormers, and is a sticky gel. You can use it under counters, washers etc but
it is so effective at attracting ants,you may want to not do that., It
contains a MAJOR attractant, ants will SWARM to it, so don't use it on areas
you
don't want to see them....anyway, it is a slow acting poison, they take it
back to the queen and in ONE DAY, my ant problem was GONE. If you can find
where the ant trail is outside your home and put it there it is amazing. It
is a
little drippy in the heat, but man does it work. It comes in a black box,
and is very inexpensive. Available at Walmart , Target , etc. Great stuff.
