Hi Everyone.......
Since we have a "Carolyn" on the Board......<G>.....( and both last names
start with an "M" )
I would really appreciate it if there were some way to clarify on these posts
which Carolyn is
being addressed or responded to.........as it can be difficult to tell at times
on a quick 'first read'
( which is all most of us take time for when buried in posts. )
Several people have mentioned to me that at 'first read' they DO think the
responses are to
something I have said as some have removed Carolyn McKenna's name on their
response.
I'm sure Carolyn McKenna has the same problem at times.
That being said.......it is always so interesting to get back on the List after
being set to No Mail
for a few days before and after a Board meeting..... to learn what we did, and
what we didn't do,
and how we did or didn't vote and WHY.....and who killed who during the
meetings........<G>

Everyone -
I was there. I respect Evan's opinion, AH had no grounds to sue, but that
doesn't mean he would not have tried. And that would have cost us a lot of
time, money, and angst.
Trust me, I'm in the middle of a frivolous lawsuit myself - over a land sale
in Texas. The neighbors sued me for selling two 70 x 120 square foot lots to
my cousin. Seriously.
The bill is up to $15k now, and it's going to cost me about $10k more before
it's over. ALL of my attorneys say there is no grounds for a suit, but
nevertheless, we are having to deal with it.
I was there. The board did what they could to fulfill the wishes of the
membership.
Don't beat them up over it. They did a good job. I think sometimes we forget
they are volunteers.
Those of you who are complaining should either send your $5 to the
Charitable Foundation or run for the board.
