[ SHOWGSD-L ] Canadian Natl Brag and More!

Nancy and I went to the Canadian Nationals again this year and took with us
two 8 month old girls with the thought that George would take which ever
he wanted to and we wouldn't show the other. George decided he would show
our black and tan girl, Masstana's Midnight Celebration (Gala) and we
wouldn't show the other. Well Al Martin saw them both and fell in love with
our
little Black bitch, Masstana's Kiss at Midnight, (Kizzy) so against our
better judgement we showed both in the same class. It was the biggest class
of the Natl outside of Specials of course, with 11 puppies shown. Both
showed very well with Gala leading for quite a while. The end result was Gala
won 2nd and Kizzy won 4th. Big thanks to Randy Darnel and of course to
George Berstler and Al Martin for their expert handling efforts.
Of interest was that the 3rd place bitch was out of the same sire as our
two. The sire of the pups is Ch Sirius Park's Kojack Bihari, a GV Bono son.
Our two girls are out of our Masstana's Haley's Comet (both majors and
11pts) who we hope to finish soon. Haley is a Sel Ch Jamaroquoi daughter out
of Marhaven's Southern Lights who is out of Sel Ch Booker and Ch Gotti's
sister.
While ordinarily that would be enough to make anyone happy, on the drive
home yesterday we found out that our pups litter sister, Masstana's The
Partys On, (Mariah) went to a show on Saturday under Sue Godek and won the
points (4 big ones!!!!!) out of the puppy class in only her 2nd time in the
ring. Big congratulations to Glen Murphy and Elizabeth (her handler) for that
great win.
I am sure there will be a great future for all these pups. PS: Mariah is
also a solid black as is Kizzy. We are so happy that she is growing up to
be a good one. Best of luck to them and keep it going guys!!!!!!!!
