If you sold the bitch but wanted to stay on as a co-owner, you would have
had to sign the AKC registration form registering the dog that way.
If there was some other deal, like a puppy back that you'd stay on as a
co-owner, you'd still have to sign the papers that way. In other words,
without
power of attorney, nobody can "put you on" anything....you'd sign the
registration papers yourself as a co-owner.
