[ SHOWGSD-L ] CA fires

Update.? It's still ugly.? I live 5 miles south of the active fires.? The wind
is still gusting at my house.? The smoke and ash are awful.? It looks like fog,
it's so thick.? The dogs are spooked.? I don't blame them.? They don't want to
eat and just want to be in their dog houses or inside the house.??Embers are
flying for miles and we saw a red ember land in a neighbor's yard last?night.?
I don't know exactly where it landed but nothing happened.? Scary stuff.? I
don't have any brush, just DG and pea gravel.? But, I do have lots of mature
trees and the?yard directly behind me has a ton of brush and dead trees.??I
didn't think it would get this far, but the ember last night and the new change
in winds?is not helping.? I just heard the fire got down to Northridge,?only?a
couple miles from me.? Possibly an ember and?the fire?was extinguished
quickly.??
I wish they would do water drops here, just to be on the safe side.?
