STOCK. Why else would AKC say they cannot be neutered? Unfortunately, many
don't have top animals to breed but once again, if you can get a dog with
several top littermates that may be all you need. Dogs from a 4 or 5 champion
litter carry the genotype to produce. Anyway, though this may be unpopular
with some....show stock is breeding stock.

Boy, Helen, you hit the nail on the head IMO. I've always wondered why, if
a bitch isn't "good enough" the common comment heard is "take her home and
breed her". Then the idea is to try to "improve things". Give me one that is
"good enough", or as you suggest Helen, one from a several ch. litter....
